About
I was honored to be appointed to the Aberdeen City Council in April 2025, following a competitive process with several strong candidates. I’m now running to retain my seat and continue serving the city I’ve called home for most of my life.

My priorities are clear and grounded in community needs: addressing homelessness with compassion and practical solutions, revitalizing Aberdeen’s historic downtown to foster local pride and economic growth, and improving our city’s infrastructure to support residents and businesses alike. I believe in responsive, transparent leadership and in building a city where everyone feels heard and valued.

I’ve lived in Grays Harbor most of my life. I earned both my Associate and Bachelor’s degrees at Grays Harbor College, and I’ve worked for over 25 years at a local architectural firm. In my role, I handle business operations, contracts, HR, marketing, project support, and legal compliance—which means I’m no stranger to complex challenges, tight budgets, or long-term planning. This experience has prepared me well for the work of city government.

In addition to my professional work, I’ve always found ways to serve and support others. I’m an active member of the Society for Design Administration (SDA), a national organization supporting non-technical professionals in the architecture, engineering, and construction industries. I currently serve on the Seattle Chapter board and the national Certification Committee, where I help develop programs for leadership and continuing education.

I serve on the Downtown Aberdeen Association’s Design and Economic Vitality Committee, where I collaborate with other community members on ideas to enhance the look, feel, and economic strength of our downtown core. It’s been a valuable way to stay engaged with revitalization efforts on the ground level and to contribute to shaping a more vibrant, welcoming city center.

I’m also a proud member of P.E.O., a philanthropic organization that supports women’s education and empowerment. Through P.E.O., I’ve had the opportunity to support local scholarships and connect with others who believe in service and community-building.

Aberdeen has deep roots and incredible potential. I’m committed to listening to our residents, making informed decisions, and working collaboratively with other city leaders to move Aberdeen forward. Whether it’s improving streets and sidewalks, creating opportunities for local businesses, or ensuring housing stability, I’m here to serve the people of Aberdeen with dedication and integrity.
